Crandall has provided engineering services for over 4000 acres of industrial and residential land in the planning and development of modern industrial parks and residential land for numerous clients in Canada and abroad. Extensive experience in this discipline has created a specialty service for our firm.

Crandall works closely with local and provincial industrial promotion agencies to identify the specific type or types of industries being targeted. Site evaluation typically includes topographical surveys, geotechnical investigations, zoning reviews, municipal growth patterns, identification of existing utilities and services, identification of all transportation systems and consideration of environmental impacts. After a site has been secured, Crandall provides a development plan identifying proposed lots, and a service plan for transportation routes and utilities. Finally, Crandall provides complete engineering services for the design and contract administration for the development of the industrial park or residential subdivision.
